New Foals
Here is a list of the new foals that are currently available.
This first cross Hanoverian filly is from the event mare The Showstoppa xx who competed to intermediate horse trials. With the dressage component from Anamour and the gallop and proven bloodlines from her dam, this filly is purpose bred to event.
The stallion For Edition is having a strong influence in Europe and New Zealand. He is the sire of Henton Faberge and Henton For Fun - the latter sold to England to William Fox-Pitt. Delft is by Dynamit from the famous Delphi (dam of Henton Attorney General) who is by Distelfink from the Thoroughbred mare Isla Park xx who was by Crown Lease xx. Delft is the dam of Henton Eragon, a young horse currently being campaigned by Tegan Fitzsimons in the South Island. Henton Lodge eagerly awaits the birth of this foal.
This filly is by the outstanding Performance Test winning sire For Edition, from Henton Ambiance who by Anamour. This is a full sister to Henton First Edition, who took out the 2009 winning foal, when judged by the German representative Jochen Wilkens. This the 4th foal for Henton Ambiance. She is destined for eventing - with the combined movement of Anamour and the temperament and athletic jump from For Edition.
This is the first full brother to Henton Attorney General ! This is a very exciting foal from the beautiful mare Delphi (by Distelfink from the Thoroughbred mare Isla Park xx who was by Crown Lease xx). This foal is destined to event following on from its older brother "Frank" and his younger half brother Henton Executive, currently being campaigned by Donna Smith at 2* level. This boy is stunning with his colour and markings - and knows it already !!! In keeping with the policy of Henton Lodge, all boys are sold, so this boy is destined for the serious competior! This foal was as a result of an embryo transfer from Delphi.
This foal by the Performance Test winning son of Escudo I - El Bundy. From the Dream Boy mare Dreamt. Dreamt never competed herself but is from the advanced event mare Tangible Asset, campaigned by Dannie Lodder. Dreamt was recently awarded best "Hanoverian Mare" of the tour by Gerhard Seckenburg the representative of the German Hanoverian Society. Her expressive movement and conformation was highly regarded. This is the first foal for Dreamt.
Anamour, who needs no introduction as the outstanding German imported Hanoverian sire of top New Zealand dressage and eventing stars, is the sire of this first foal from the grey Thoroughbred mare Diamond Bracelet xx who is by Success Express xx. This is the first foal for Diamond Bracelet and an ideal eventing type carrying half Hanoverian and half Thoroughbred blood.
Another full brother to Henton Attorney General !!! Two brothers in one year (the other an embryo transfer). This generously boned and sized brown colt, is a stunning result by Amamour from the Distelfink mare Delphi. He is also a half brother to Henton Executive, currently being campaigned sucessfully at Intermediate and CIC** level by Donna Smith and Henton Exclusive who is showjumping, plus a number of other successul progeny from the Elite status mare Delphi, by Distelfink, who is from the Crown Lease xx mare Isla Park xx. This is a big strapping foal destined for greatness as a result of his breeding and conformation. As is policy at Henton Lodge, all "boys" are sold, but to selective, competitive homes. Someone is going to have fun with this horse who has international success not only in his pedigree, but written all over him!
