This beautiful bright bay filly is by the now deceased stallion Landro L whom Christine Weal competed so very sucessfully during his short time in New Zealand. Landro L was by Landadel from the Grande mare Grande Fee - his loss to NZ for his jumping and dressage bloodlines is tragic. This exceptional moving filly with a lovely relaxed disposition, is from Henton Anastasia, she is by Anamour from the Distelfink mare Distelene. She is closely related to Louisa Hill's Bates Antonello whom she describes as "the best one so far".
This is a modern young horse for the serious event or show jump competitor. El Bundy is the very sucessful son of the legendary Escudo I, both of whom won their respective performance tests topping the jumping index. He is from the Anamour mare Henton Ambiance who competed herself in dressage and was lightly jumped. This very correct young horse was the receipent of the "best dressage foal" at the recent Grand Parade of Hanoverians, judged by Gerhard Seckenburg, the representative of the German Hanoverian Society. Although he is bred to jump this presentation reflects his movement alone, wait until he is old enough to jump! This is going to be a big horse upon full maturity. He is a full brother to Henton Esquire.
This "exqusite" filly is the first foal of Henton Elite. Henton Elite, by Escudo I from the Distelfink mare Delphi (making her a half sister to Henton Attorney General and a full sister to Henton Executive) competed herself sucessfully eventing. This delicate filly, who we think will go black, is by the stunning For Edition, who is gaining himself a huge reputation as a stallion in Germany. You might consider her a small, beautiful package, but she will advise you there is some definte spunk there! For Edition was the outstanding winner of his performance test with an exceptional jumping index. This is an excetionally bred filly for the serious competitor.
Henton Authentic is a stunning black colt by Anamour (see bloodlines) from the Dynamit (see bloodlines) mare, Henton Dungarven. Anamour needs no introduction, being the New Zealand resident sire of numerous top dressage horses and a number of successful eventing and showjumping horses. Henton Dungarven was successful in the sport herself, in dressage, show jumping, show hunter and eventing before being retired and retained by Henton Lodge. She has a stunning jump a beautiful trot (as remarked upon by Dr Jochen Wilkens on one of his visits from the German Hanoverian Society) and was very bold cross country. Henton Authentic has inherited her beautiful face and he is a cuddly delight to have around. This horse will be an ideal eventer, with movement from Anamour and the jump from his mum.
Henton Esquire is a stunning, long legged, modern, correct Hanoverian horse. He has the wonderful genetics of El Bundy (sire of Sarah Milnes Eon) who convincingly won his performane test, El Bundy is the son of the legendary Escudo I. Henton Esquire is from the Anamour mare Henton Ambiance herself being from a Thoroughbred mare. Henton Ambiance competed successfully in dressage before an accident led her to the broodmare paddock. This horse is a wonderful mix of dressage and jumping blood and will suit the disciplines of eventing or showjumping.
Henton First Edition was crowned CHAMPION FOAL by Dr Jochen Wilkens at the Parade of Hanoverians - see News. He is by For Edition (see Bloodlines), the performance test winning son of Forsyth, who is by the great For Pleasure jumping champion sensation from Henton Ambiance. Henton Ambiance is by Anamour (see Bloodlines) from the Thoroughbred mare Irish Crystal. Henton Ambiance was a successful dressage mare, before an accident prematurely ended her career. She is a half sister to Henton Dungarven who was a successful event mare. Henton Ambiance is also the full sister to the successful dressage mare Aspiration. This foal born in November 2008 is suitable for both dressage and jumping therefore ideal for the discipline of eventing. "Fraser" as he is know by to his friends is now undersaddle and showing huge promise - see "news".
