SUCCESS AT METALFORM SOUTHERN & CENTRAL HAWKES BAY SHOW JUMPING CHAMPS

At the recent Metalform Southern & Central Hawkes Bay Show Jumping Championship show both Henton Faberge and Henton Excalibur produced solid, consistent, way above average performances.

Henton Faberge, partnered with the talented rider Emelia Forsyth for a second placing in the Young Rider class. On Sunday they were one of two 4 faulters after the two round World Cup competition. With the first round clear and one rail in the second, in a star studded field of the best 10 World Cup horses in New Zealand. A slightly slower time saw them awarded a most credible second place, an outstanding achievement considering the combination only stepped up twelve months ago to World Cup level.

Henton Excalibur and Oliver Edgecumbe, a recently new combination, continued their current success. George was second in the 1.40 class, this was backed up with a 3rd place in the Mini Prix and another 3rd placing in the 1.40 speed class.

Henton Lodge wish both Emelia and Oliver more successes for the remainder of the show jumping season.
